A reminder should sound like a courteous service call. Never threaten, shame or contact third parties. Call only in permitted hours, identify the lender, and stop when asked. Have counsel review before use. Calls about payments are regulated, and rules change.
1. Pre-due reminder
(Mee loan EMI ₹6,200 ee nela 5na chellinchaali. Samayaniki chellistaaraa?) Your loan EMI of ₹6,200 is due on the 5th. Will you pay on time?
Caller: అవును. (Avunu.) Yes.
2. Promise date
Caller: ఈ వారం చెల్లిస్తాను. (Ee vaaram chellistaanu.) I'll pay this week.
(Shukravaaram lopu ani note chesukuntunnanu.) I'm noting by Friday.
3. Document follow-up
(Oka document inka andaledu. Maa pratinidhi vachi teesukovachaa?) One document is pending. May our representative collect it?
4. Hardship: hand over
(Ee nela chellinchalenu, ibbandigaa undi.) I can't pay this month, I'm in difficulty.
(Arthamaindi. Maa adhikaari meetho maatladataaru.) Understood. Our officer will speak with you.
Hand over without arguing.
