Short calls, one decision
E-commerce calls should take under a minute and ask one thing. Confirm, correct or cancel. Long calls raise annoyance and cost, and do not improve delivery.
1. COD confirmation
Agent: మీరు ₹1,200 COD order చేశారు, confirm చేస్తారా? (Meeru ₹1,200 COD order chesaru, confirm chestaaraa?) You placed a ₹1,200 cash on delivery order. Do you confirm?
Caller: అవును. (Avunu.) Yes.
2. Address check
Agent: మీ అడ్రస్ లో landmark ఏదైనా ఉందా? (Mee address lo landmark edaina undaa?) Is there a landmark near your address?
Caller: బస్ స్టాండ్ దగ్గర. (Bus stand daggara.) Near the bus stand.
Record it as a field for the courier.
3. Delivery reminder
Agent: మీ parcel ఈ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం వస్తుంది. ఇంట్లో ఉంటారా? (Mee parcel ee roju madhyaahnam vastundi. Intlo untaaraa?) Your parcel comes this afternoon. Will you be home?
4. Failed-delivery recovery and cancellation
Agent: డెలివరీ విఫలమైంది. మీకు ఇంకా కావాలా? (Delivery viphalamaindi. Meeku inka kavaalaa?) The delivery failed. Do you still want it?
Caller: వద్దు, cancel చేయండి. (Vaddu, cancel cheyandi.) No, cancel it.
Agent: సరే, cancel చేస్తున్నాను. (Sare, cancel chestunnanu.) Fine, I'm cancelling it. Accept the cancellation without persuading.
