A quote is a list of decisions
Every quote hides choices: what is counted as a billable minute, what is charged on failed calls, what is included in setup. Reading a quote means finding those choices.
The line items to find
Per-minute or per-block rate. Telephony and number charges. Platform or seat fee. Setup or onboarding. Minimum commitment. Taxes.
If any is missing from the quote, ask whether it is included or simply not shown.
How time is counted
Some providers bill per second, some per minute, some in blocks. A call of 61 seconds costs very different amounts under each. On EnableCalls, connected time is counted in short blocks and unanswered calls are free. Ask every provider the same question.
What to compare
Compare the price of a usable outcome: a booking or a qualified lead. Ask each provider for a pilot on your own list, and compare results, not rates.
Watch for lock-in
Long minimum terms make sense only if the product has proved itself on your calls. Prefer to start with a prepaid amount you can use at your own pace.
