- We are EnableCalls, and we build a Telugu AI voice agent, so this guide favours us.
- A supported-language list tells you little.
- Most callers mix both.
- Ask who builds and edits the agent, how long the first version takes, exactly which call states are billed, and what a real call record contains.
- Choose an inbound enquiry, an outbound follow-up with a busy caller, and a call with interruptions.
A note on bias
We are EnableCalls, and we build a Telugu AI voice agent, so this guide favours us. We have not ranked competitors, because we have not tested them. What follows is a set of criteria you can apply to any provider, including us, so you can decide from evidence.
Criterion one: live Telugu on your callers
A supported-language list tells you little. Ask for a live call in Telugu using your customers' phrases, names and localities, and have a native speaker from your region judge it.
Criterion two: the Telugu and English mix
Most callers mix both. Say a price and a time in English inside a Telugu sentence, then switch languages mid-call. A good agent follows without asking you to choose.
Criterion three: setup, billing and records
Ask who builds and edits the agent, how long the first version takes, exactly which call states are billed, and what a real call record contains. Ask to trigger a handover and check what context arrives.
Run the same three calls on each
Choose an inbound enquiry, an outbound follow-up with a busy caller, and a call with interruptions. Judge every provider on the same three calls, side by side, with the people who will use the result in the room.
