What is DID number?
A DID number, or direct inward dialling number, is a phone number that routes incoming calls to a particular destination, such as a person, a team or an AI employee. Customers dial an ordinary-looking number and the call is delivered to the system you chose.
Why DID number matters for Telugu calling
A dedicated number for each AI employee keeps calls, records and billing separate. Callers reach the right employee without a menu.
The number is also the caller's first impression on outbound calls. A recognisable, consistent number gets more calls answered than an unfamiliar one.
How to measure or improve it
Check which number each employee uses, and how many simultaneous calls its lines allow.
- One line allows one call at a time; more lines allow more at once.
- Confirm who holds the number and its identity requirements.
- Confirm renewal dates so a number does not lapse.
Pay for connected call time only.
EnableCalls runs on a prepaid credit wallet. One credit is one rupee, credits are used only while a call is connected and answered, and unanswered, busy or failed attempts cost nothing. Rates are set per account, so we do not print a fixed figure here.
