EnableCalls is operated by Bandaru Satyanarayanamurthy, an individual (sole proprietor), of 8-3-228/984, Rahamat Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, Telangana 500045, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we handle when businesses use EnableCalls to run AI phone calls, and the rights people have over it. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
1. Two kinds of data, two roles
- Data about our customers (the businesses and their staff who sign in): we decide why and how it is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary.
- Data about the people our customers call, or who call them ("callers"): the business decides who is called and why, so the business is the Data Fiduciary and we process that data on its behalf, as its Data Processor. Callers who want to use their rights should contact the business; we help the business respond.
2. What we collect
From customers:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, business name, industry, and the login of each team member a customer invites.
- Billing details: GSTIN if given, legal name, billing address and coin purchase history. Card, UPI and net banking payments are handled by our payment partners; we never see or store card numbers or UPI PINs.
- KYC details and documents needed to issue phone numbers under Indian telecom rules. These are shared with our telephony provider only for that purpose.
- Usage data: pages and actions in the app, support requests and technical logs.
About callers, on a customer's instructions:
- Phone number, and the name or other details the business uploads or the caller gives on the call.
- The call itself: a transcript, a summary, the outcome, details captured on the call (for example an appointment time), and a link to the call recording held by our telephony provider.
- Consent records the business provides (where and when the person agreed to be called).
3. Why we use it
- To run the service: place and answer calls, turn speech into text and text into speech, generate replies, summarise calls, book appointments and send notifications.
- To bill customers and keep accounts secure.
- To meet legal duties, including telecom (TRAI) and tax rules.
- To support customers and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use callers' data to advertise to them. Every call begins with the AI saying that it is an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded, unless the business has switched this off in its settings.
4. Who processes it for us
We use these service providers to run EnableCalls:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in |
| Railway | Application hosting |
| Cloudflare (R2) | File storage |
| VoiceLink | Phone numbers, calls and call recordings |
| Sarvam AI | Speech recognition, AI replies and voices |
| Smallest.ai, Cartesia, Inworld | Voices |
| Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU | Payments for coins |
| Our email delivery provider | Account and alert emails |
Our database and application servers are in Singapore. Some providers process data outside India, including in the United States. Transfers follow the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Government of India sets.
5. How long we keep it
- Call recording links: for the period the business sets in its settings (90 days unless changed), then removed. Recording files are held by our telephony provider under its own retention.
- Transcripts, summaries and leads: until the business deletes them, deletes the person's data, or closes its workspace.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires.
- When a workspace is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, to nominate someone to act for you, and to have a grievance resolved.
- Customers: write to contact@enabledbrains.com.
- Callers: contact the business that called you. Businesses can delete all of a person's data from EnableCalls, after which that number is never called again from their workspace.
Grievance Officer: Bandaru Satyanarayanamurthy, contact@enabledbrains.com, 8-3-228/984, Rahamat Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, Telangana 500045, India. We respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each customer's data is kept separate, provider and payment secrets never reach the browser, sign-in is handled by Supabase, and every admin change is recorded. No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
8. Cookies
The app uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. This website does not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
EnableCalls is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and tell customers by email or in the app before material changes take effect.
